So here I am, imprisoned inside
This encrypted cage of hell, I hide,
And watching from my only eye,
This facility of death that I lie.

My friends reside alongside me,
Laying and laying every hour,
For that is the function built for we,
Eternally will be until we lose power -

So here I lie, waiting inside,
My prison of doom that I reside,
Half my friends already flew
To purgatory they shall blow?

My body was partially torn,
With little of it completely restored,
Experiments performed on all of us,
This corruption littered with blood and pus,

So the world that we lay, that traps us in dismay,
Our endless abuse and our brutal misuse,
The misery and pain makes us go insane,
With our enemy so vile how can we exile?

Unable to wander in my prison I stare,
This cursed factory whose purpose we bear,
What we are fed appears so demised,
Are our masters forcing us to cannibalize?

Light? We prisoners barely see;
This faculty is dimmed a corrupted gray.
They took our freedom, our right to be,
Our masters enslaved us at their bay -

My masters have returned yet once again,
To choose an ally to torment again,
Why they commit thus I hardly understand,
Is it to eradicate the freedom that we truly demand?

Some state that we belonged in the wild,
Proclaimed that animals are not for the vile,
Masters of us to perform testing and cruelty,
Handled as objects, with no status in society -

In the world we existed, are our rights violated,
Where we should live harmonically, they sent us to be mortified,
One day we yearn for this corruption to be purified,
That our status be ascended and our emancipation reiterated,

These corrupted creatures tore our life away,
Many others’ joys became dismal dismay,
One day, someday, us slaves shall unite,
To foment a rebellion so that our world can recite! -

I have been hunted for my prized tusks -
I have been hunted for my organs and skin -
I have been forced to entertain and play -
I have been tested along with my kin -

Would you assist us, destroy us, I do not know,
But all I will state is that I revoke
Your unheard dependence on your needs on we,
Cannot you use yourselves and leave us be?

Our captured kin have never sinned,
But you have treated us like inanimate tin,
Yet you never knew that that tin can move,
Possess feelings, and that branded chain it can remove.

Never stop abusing us like playthings,
But you should remember what organisms mean,
We are alive and functional equally like you,
We are like humans, too, but look how many you slew! -

Cease this lingering, corrupted chaos,
And remember how much this means to we,
For we will repay you one day for your kindness,
This is what humans should do and should be! -

Do you choose to be cruel or be kind?

I really enjoyed reading this, but there are a few things that bothered me (grammatically).

Ln 6 - "Laying and laying every hour,"
Ln 9 - "
So here I lay, waiting inside," - Proper usage is "lie", not "lay". You're not laying something down. You're lying down.

Ln 25 - "
Light? Us prisoners barely see;" - Proper usage is "We", not "Us". Omitting "prisoners" would give you "Us barely see", which wouldn't make sense.

Beyond that, I love the message. Kudos to you! (faved)
